Revamping a non-profit brand campagin

SustainLA

SustainLA was created based on a Los Angeles nonprofit focused on the city’s growing environmental issues. The goals include education, community programs, and planting native species.

Final campaign involves advertising, web design, branding, illustration, and an environmental aspect.

CASE STUDY 02: Sustain LA

Simplify and modernize the branding in order for audiences to have an easier time understanding the organization and its mission.

Through brand redesign, the organization has the opportunity to be more successful and better achieve the goal of creating a more sustainable Los Angeles.

For this project I developed a hypothetical event pertaining to the non-profit and the work they do. It’s a community event showcasing the reuse of a vacant lot turned green space. The work includes poster design, a short exhibit, and an activity.

RENEW: LOS ANGELES includes an activity for those who choose to participate. Guests are encouraged to pot a sapling, bring it home, and plant it in their own outdoor space. All plants are native to the region to therefore benefit the land.
